GENERAL
Use serial comma.
Use American spelling (per Lydia Buechler).
Do not hyphenate an "-ly" adverb and the following adjective: newly grown, etc.
Lowercase a full sentence after a colon, except cap a question.
Lowercase personal titles standing alone: the vice president of the United States
Use "who" only for people; "which" for countries.
Use italics for the following:

Genus and species names: Homo sapiens
